Cortland Ends Flock Contract: Cameras to be Removed

CORTLAND — The Town of Cortland voted unanimously to approve a proposal from Axon Enterprise Inc. for a 60 month contract to provide body worn cameras and in car camera systems for the Cortland Police Department. The contract also includes Redaction Studio and AI real time translation for officers in more than 50 languages. As part of the new contract, Cortland is ending its contract with Flock and its previous provider of body cameras and in car camera systems. A work order has been placed with Flock to remove its five cameras and poles in Cortland.
