DEKALB — A 33-year-old DeKalb man was arrested after police said he fired a handgun toward another man during a dispute Friday morning. Police said Antwan Swanigan returned to his apartment, got a handgun and fired one round toward the victim, missing him. Officers later found a spent .40 caliber casing and a handgun during a search of the apartment. Swanigan faces felony charges including aggravated discharge of a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated assault. He is being held at the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office pending a detention hearing.
