Chicago, IL – Chicago State University is officially on the hunt for its first-ever football coach. University officials announced the launch of the search this week, signaling a major step forward for the program as it prepares for its inaugural season.
The Cougars are set to begin competing in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) play in 2026. Chicago State is already a member of the Northeast Conference, where it will join other schools in its football endeavors.
