White Sox Come From Behind And Beat The Mets

Jake Rogers hit a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 9th inning Friday night as the Chicago White Sox came from behind and beat the New York Mets 6-4.

Chicago had trailed 4-0 before they tied the game in the 6th inning on home runs by Miguel Vargas, Randal Grichuk, and Colson Montgomery.

Grant Taylor picked up the win in relief.

Bo Bichette had a solo home run for the Mets.

Chicago leads the AL Central Division by 4 1/2 games over Minnesota and Cleveland.

Game 2 in the series is Saturday night at Rate Field.
