Byron Begins Milling Work On Several City Streets

BYRON – Martin Construction began milling several Byron streets Wednesday as part of the city’s ongoing street improvement work. Public Works Director Aaron Vincer said crews completed milling on North Grant Street, Lincoln Street, South Walnut Street, West Diamond Street and All Saints Drive. Crews are expected to finish additional work Thursday before paving begins early next week. The city also plans to add a pull off parking area along Diamond Street near the park. The east side of Diamond Street and Chestnut Street will be milled at a later date.
