Baseball Hall of Famer Frank Thomas is suing the Chicago White Sox and several retailers over unauthorized jersey sales.
Cook County, Illinois court filings show Thomas alleges companies used his name and number-35 on “City Connect Two-Point-Oh” jerseys without permission.
Thomas claims the merchandise has been sold since April 2025 without compensation. The complaint also cites violations of the Illinois Right of Publicity Act and says the companies profited from his identity.
Thomas is seeking damages tied to jersey sales and other losses, along with a jury trial.
