SYCAMORE — The DeKalb County History Center is inviting residents to learn about volunteer opportunities during an informational meeting Wednesday at 3 p.m. The History Center is looking for volunteers to help with greeting visitors, research, programming, gardening and other tasks. “Our volunteers are an essential part of our work, and we would love to have some more people join our family,” Executive Director Michelle Donahoe said. Volunteers can help weekly, monthly or during annual events. The meeting will be held at the History Center, 1730 N. Main Street in Sycamore.
