Applications Sought for Illinois Works Apprenticeship Program

SPRINGFIELD – Gov. J.B. Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity announced this week that applications are now open for the fifth round of the Illinois Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program. The $25 million from state taxpayers will fund up to 45 programs intended to increase the representation of underrepresented groups in the construction trades.
