Americans for Prosperity-Illinois Targets Legislators Over Property Tax Relief in New Campaign

SPRINGFIELD – Americans for Prosperity-Illinois is targeting various state legislators for what the group says is their lack of action on delivering meaningful property tax relief while at the same time considering various pension and tax proposals. The group launched a digital campaign Monday, saying Illinois residents have the highest overall state-local tax burden in the nation, including the second-highest property taxes.
