BISHOP HILL, Illinois — Adrian + Meredith, a dynamic Americana duo, will take the stage at the Bishop Hill Creative Commons on Friday, April 11. The evening will begin with a community potluck at 6:00 PM, followed by the concert at 7:00 PM. Donations of $20–$30 are encouraged, with all funds benefiting the artists.
The duo, based in Nashville, combines a variety of musical styles, blending Americana, klezmer, folk-punk, and old-time swing. Their energetic performances feature instruments like fiddle, accordion, upright bass, and raw vocals. Known for their vibrant live shows, they draw from a range of influences including Eastern European melodies, rockabilly, and folk traditions.
Adrian Krygowski, a former solo folk artist, and Meredith Brown, a skilled fiddle player and classically trained dancer, formed the duo with a shared vision of creating something unique. Their music reflects themes of love, resistance, and the pursuit of dreams, resonating with a devoted fan base that connects deeply to their high-energy performances.
The concert will take place at the Bishop Hill Creative Commons, a venue celebrated for its commitment to fostering creativity and bringing exceptional live music to the community. For more details, visit xroadscc.org.
