ROCKFORD — Authorities are naming the 20-year-old man killed in a shooting outside a convenience store in Rockford. Police say Tristyn August was shot Sunday night in the parking lot of a Circle K near Jefferson and East State. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. The incident remains under investigation.
