Those who qualify may receive information about options such as premium tax credits or Medicaid and will have 60 days to apply for a plan if eligible for marketplace coverage. The program does not affect tax returns and does not require enrollment. Officials said the effort is designed to help more residents access affordable health coverage, especially as the April 15 tax filing deadline approaches.
