ROCHELLE — The City of Rochelle is hosting an Electronics and Appliances Recycling drop-off event today from 8 a.m. to noon at the Street Department facility, 251 E. 1st Avenue. The event is open to Rochelle residents only. The city also provides curbside pickup for electronics and appliances every Thursday, with a $20 fee for electronics and $5 for appliances. Eligible items include refrigerators, air conditioners, washers, dryers, microwaves, and electronics such as TVs and computers. Residents can obtain a sticker for their items at City Hall or the RMU Customer Service Center to schedule a pickup.
