DEKALB — A family of five was displaced after a house fire Monday afternoon in the 100 block of Cotton Avenue caused an estimated $76,000 in damage. Firefighters were called just before 1 p.m. and found flames coming from the side of the home, which had spread to the interior and attic. No injuries were reported, and all occupants, including two adults and three children, were already outside when crews arrived.
