Illinois Flags Lowered To Honor Fallen Chicago Police Officer

SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Department of Central Management Services said flags across the state will be flown at half staff from sunrise Friday through sunset May 8 in honor of Chicago Police Officer John G. Bartholomew. The order, issued by Gov. JB Pritzker, applies to the United States and Illinois flags at all state buildings and facilities covered under the Illinois Flag Display Act.
