(Chicago, IL) — The Padres salvaged their three-game series against the Cubs with an 8-7 win in the finale from Chicago.
Fernando Tatis Jr. scored the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning after Justin Turner committed a throwing error. San Diego snapped a two-game skid.
Kyle Tucker drove in three runs for Chicago, which saw its five-game winning streak come to an end.
The Cubs will be at home Monday night against the Texas Rangers.
