WIC Changes Result In More Options For Illinois Recipients 

SPRINGFIELD –  Illinois residents enrolled in the statewide WIC program now have more food choices at local grocery stores.  The program has expanded its food package offerings as of last month.  The Illinois Department of Human Services called the changes “culturally responsive.”  These changes took effect February 25th and impact more than 175,000 Illinois residents.
