The White Sox will honor the late former closer Bobby Jenks.
The team will wear the pitcher’s jersey number 45 patches on their uniforms for the rest of the season. Jenks passed away last week at age 44.
Fans have placed flowers at a memorial at the World Series monument at 35th and Shields. The Sox also had a moment of silence for Jenks before Monday night’s game against the Blue Jays at Rate Field.
