White Sox Sweep The Royals

(Chicago, IL) — The White Sox beat the Royals 6-2 to complete a home sweep. Randal Grichuk went two-for-three with a home run and four RBIs to lead the Chicago attack. Anthony Kay allowed two runs over six innings to get the win and Sean Newcomb locked down his first save. The White Sox have won five games in a row to improve to 22-and-21 on the year.
Maikel Garcia and Lane Thomas each drove in a run for Kansas City. Kris Bubic surrendered five runs over four innings, getting the loss. The Royals are now 19-and-25 having lost four straight games.
The White Sox play the Cubs Friday night at Rate Field.
