(Chicago, IL) — The Chicago White Sox are bringing in one of the top power hitters in the NPB.
The Southsiders signed Munetaka Murakami to a two-year deal worth 34 million dollars yesterday. The contract will keep Murakami in Chicago through the end of the 2027 season.
The 25-year-old hit .286 with 24 home runs and 52 RBI’s in 69 games with Yakult in 2025.
