The Arizona Diamondbacks collected 16 hits on Wednesday night as they beat the Chicago White Sox 11-7.
Nolan Arenado had 4 hits which included a 2-run home run. Ildemaro Vargas also hit 2 home runs for the Diamondbacks.
The highlight for the White Sox came in the 7th inning when Munetaka Murakami went deep for the 5th straight game.
Colson Montgomery and Miguel Vargas also had a solo home runs for Chicago.
Rubber game in the 3-game series will be played Thursday afternoon in Arizona.
