The Kansas Royals scored 2 runs in the botton of the 9th inning Tuesday night in a 4-3 win over the Chicago White Sox.
The winning run came in on an RBI single by Bobby Witt Jr.
The Royals had tied the game on a throwing error.
Kyle Isbel also had a home run for Kansas City.
Josh Rojas had a 2-run single for the White Sox. Cam Booser took the loss in relief.
Game 3 in the series will be Wednesday night in Kansas City.
