White Sox Hit 5 Home Runs In Their 8-3 Win Over The Cubs

The Chicago White Sox hit 5 home runs Saturday night in their 8-3 win over the Chicago Cubs in the Crosstown Series at Rate Field.

Munetaka Murakami hit 2 home runs and drove in 3 runs for the White Sox. Also going deep were Miguel Vargas, Colson Montgomery, and Andrew Benintendi.

Davis Martin got the win pitching 6 innings of 1 run baseball. He struck out 7 and moved his record to (6-1).

Chicago improved to 6-2 on their 9-game homestand.

The Cubs had home runs from Pete Crow-Armstrong and Miguel Amaya. Jameson Taillon took the loss.

The rubber game in the series is Sunday afternoon.
