Water Tower Leak Fixed

ROCHELLE – The water tower along Illinois Route 251 in Rochelle was repaired Monday by a contractor after a leak began to form over the weekend. City officials noted that it appeared to be a gasket that failed, and that there was never any public danger, as the leak was not structural. The temporary cell phone tower that was adjacent to the structure is slated to be taken down soon.
