Volunteers Turn Out for Rock River Sweep

OREGON – About 30 volunteers joined this year’s Rock River Sweep, hauling trash, scrap metal and other debris from the water and riverbanks last Saturday. The event was organized and supported by the Oregon Park District, Ogle County Solid Waste Management, IDNR, Northern Illinois Disposal, the Oregon Fire Department and the Sheriff’s Department.
