WASHINGTON DC – Illinois U.S. Rep. Mike Bost says the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has processed more than two-million disability claims in record time this year. The V.A. announced Tuesday that the average wait time for a veteran’s claim to be processed fell from 141.5 days on Jan. 20, 2025, to 131.8 days on June 21, 2025. Bost is chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee.
