LEAF RIVER — A La Moille woman suffered non-life threatening injuries Friday after a UTV left the roadway in the 3600 block of North Leaf River Road. Ogle County sheriff’s deputies said a 69-year old La Moille man was driving eastbound when, for unknown reasons, he went off the east side of the road while negotiating a curve. The UTV jumped a culvert and came to rest in a ditch. After the crash, a 67-year-old La Moille woman was taken to OSF St. Katherine’s Hospital by Mount Morris EMS. The operator was cited for operating a non highway vehicle on the roadway and released with a notice to appear.
