SYCAMORE — Two people were injured Saturday in a crash on State Route 64 just west of 1st Street after a passenger vehicle driven by a 24-year-old Peru woman allegedly failed to slow for a stop sign and struck the back of an SUV driven by a 46-year-old Rochelle man, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. The Peru woman and a passenger were taken to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital by Sycamore Fire, while the Rochelle man and a juvenile passenger were not hurt. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
