AMBOY — Lee County officials announced changes to traffic flow for this weekend’s 4-H Fair, following last year’s strong attendance. Drivers are encouraged to enter the fairgrounds from the south on Franklin Grove Road, accessible via Nauman Road or Sterling Road, to reduce congestion on U.S. Route 30 and speed up entry. The east entrance will be open Friday nights for pullers but will be closed Saturday. In the evenings, outbound traffic will be directed to ease congestion: vehicles exiting from the east entrance must turn east on Route 30, those in the right lane at the main gate must turn north or west, and the left lane will turn south on Franklin Grove Road.
