The Chicago Cubs and White Sox return to action on Friday after having the day off on Thursday.
The Cubs play an afternoon game at Wrigley Field against the Baltimore Orioles while the White Sox are in Anaheim Friday night against the L.A. Angels.
Both teams were busy prior to the trading deadline coming to an end on Thursday.
The Cubs added 3 pitcher to their roster. They include Mike Soroka, Andrew Kittredge, and Taylor Rogers.
The also acquired utility player Willi Castro.
The White Sox traded pitcher Adrian Houser to the Tampa Bay Rays for 3 minor league players.
