The Chicago Bears will start the season without one of their top offseason additions.
Safety Coby Bryant is expected to miss eight to ten weeks with a hyperextended left knee, bone bruise and small fracture.
Bryant was carted off the practice field after going down during today’s training camp session.
He joined Chicago this spring on a three-year, 40-million-dollar contract after helping the Seattle Seahawks win the Super Bowl.
