Glendale, AZ — The Chicago White Sox will be without their starting catcher for the first month of the season. Kyle Teel was injured during Team Italy’s 8-6 win over the USA in the World Baseball Classic on Tuesday. Teel was diagnosed with a hamstring strain and will be out between four-to-six weeks. Teel hit .273 with eight home runs and 35 RBI’s in 78 games during his rookie campaign last season.
