DEKALB – Tails Humane Society will hold a fall yard sale Saturday, September 13, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Tails Training Center, 2250 Barber Greene Road, featuring fall décor, home goods, kitchen items, pet costumes, beds, toys, and other supplies at low prices. An early bird special from 8 to 9 a.m. is available for a $10 donation.
Executive Director Michelle Groeper said, “Almost all of the items are brand new, most in boxes, and we sell them for about 50 percent of retail value thanks to a generous local retailer.”
She added the fundraiser supports medical care for the 2,300 animals the shelter cared for last year, noting, “We don’t receive any government funding, so every event helps us cover expenses like veterinary treatment and daily shelter operations.”
