Sterling Woman And Rock Falls Man Charged In Leaf River Bar Burglary

LEAF RIVER — The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to an alarm at Fibbers Bar in Leaf River on early Saturday at about 4:32 a.m. and discovered a burglary had taken place. Following an investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for 37-year-old Shawna L. Saenz of Sterling, and 47-year-old Jeffery A. Mowery of Rock Falls, on charges of burglary, a Class 2 felony. Authorities said Saenz and Mowery are currently being held in the Whiteside County Jail on unrelated charges and will later be transferred to the custody of the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office.
