DEKALB – One person was stabbed Friday in DeKalb and no suspects have been identified. DeKalb Police Chief David Byrd says officers responded to a reported stabbing at about 5:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Ridge Drive. A male adult victim was transported to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital for treatment of injuries that appeared to be non-life threatening. No arrests have been made, but authorities say they are just looking for one perpetrator. The investigation remains in its preliminary stages, according to Byrd. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the DeKalb Police Department.
