SYCAMORE — Sip and Sparkle will be held Thursday, March 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Blumen Gardens, 403 Edward St., in Sycamore, bringing the community together for an evening of food, drinks, networking, and a jewelry swap to benefit Tails Humane Society.
“It’ll be a fantastic event, this is our second year doing it, but if you have some jewelry or other accessories such as purses, scarves, etc., you can bring that in and then trade it for another piece of jewelry or another accessory,” said Kerina Evenson, events and marketing manager for Tails Humane Society.
Participants will exchange three to five gently used items for tokens and later select new pieces during the swap, with tickets also including a swag bag, a commemorative wine glass, a free first drink, raffle tickets, food, photo opportunities, and access to a cash bar.
“We rely 100% on donor and service fees, so we are very grateful to our incredible community and if people are looking for something to do on March 19th, they can join us for our Sip and Sparkle and help out homeless pets while enjoying a great night out,”
Evenson said. All proceeds support Tails Humane Society, which cared for more than 2,200 animals last year.
