BYRON — Sinnissippi Centers and the Byron Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting and open house Thursday at 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the new Sinnissippi office in Byron. The event will bring together local officials, chamber representatives, and staff at the office, located at 212 West Blackhawk Drive. Open since May, the office provides mental health and substance use services to residents of Byron and the surrounding area.
Andy Jackson, Marketing Coordinator with Sinnissippi Centers, said everyone is welcome.
“We would love for you to see our new Byron office,” he said. “We’re excited to be in the community, and we hope to see you there.”
The six-person team offers support for individuals and families, including counseling, psychiatric care, early childhood mental health, and crisis services. Sinnissippi Centers serves five counties with seven office locations in northern Illinois.
