DIXON – There will be a fundraiser for an area organization that supports children who have experienced abuse, trauma, or violence. The Shining Star Children’s Advocacy Center will benefit from an event called Quarter Mania For Kids this evening. Dixon Quarter Mania will host the event at the Dixon Elks Lodge at 1729 Franklin Grove Road starting at 5 PM. Participants are asked to bring quarters to bid on a number of items, plus take part in raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and vendor shopping. Paddles will just be $5 each.
