Shabbona Receives Grant For Park Improvements

SHABBONA — The Village of Shabbona has been awarded a $12,500 Compeer Financial Rural Vitality Grant through the DeKalb County Community Foundation, with support from the DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation. Village officials said the funds will be used to repair and replace the Lions Park pavilion floor and add new playground equipment, following approval by the Village Board meeting last week.
