ROCHELLE – Rochelle Township High School will present The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon by Don Zolidis on October 2-4 at 7:30 p.m., featuring a comedic mash-up of classic fairy tales with unexpected twists and audience participation. Performances will be held at RTHS with entry through door 15 at the back of the building, and tickets will be available at the door for $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Cast member Bobbie Henning said it is a new take on childhood favorites.
“I’d say it’s a story in reverse. We start off telling the end of the story via one fairy tale and we connect it with another and another and another until we get to the start of the story. At the end, we tell the stories in the correct order really, really fast.”
The production is sponsored by Rochelle Community Hospital.
