GLEN ELLYN — A cleaning woman is accused of stealing over eleven-thousand dollars worth of jewelry from a client’s home in west suburban Glen Ellyn. Frances Carter of Rockford has been charged with one count of felony residential burglary. Authorities say they received a call from a resident who claimed jewelry was stolen from their home in October 2024. The merchandise included a 14-carat white gold diamond ring and a 14-carat yellow gold tennis bracelet. Carter was released from custody on the condition that she has no contact with the victims in the case. Her next court appearance is set for September 29th.
