ROCHELLE — The Rock River Valley Blood Center will hold a blood drive on Monday, May 11 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rochelle VFW, 318 4th Avenue.
“Community sites like the VFW help us reach more donors, and that outreach is essential to maintaining a strong local blood supply,” said Maggie Anderson, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist for the Rock River Valley Blood Center.
RRVBC supplies the total blood needs for 14 area hospitals and depends on regular donor support to meet weekly targets. Appointments are encouraged at RRVBC.org and donors should bring a photo ID.
