ROCHELLE —The Rochelle Township High School Board of Education approved a five year lease for a new fourteen passenger activity bus during its meeting on April 20. The board will pay an annual fee of $21,636 to secure the 2025 Chevy Collins vehicle which replaces an older bus that expires this June. This transportation update comes as the district prepares for several end of year milestones including the final day for seniors on May 15 and final exams starting May 18. The official graduation ceremony for the class of 2026 is scheduled for May 23 and officials hope to hold the event outdoors if the weather permits.
