ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Police Department reports two of its telecommunicators have been nominated for the 2026 911der Woman of the Year award. Alison Patrick and Cory Sester were recognized for their service to the community. The department states both provide guidance to callers during emergencies and support first responders in critical situations. Sester has 22 years of service. Patrick serves as a trainer and helps lead the communications center. Officials say the nominations reflect their dedication, professionalism, and compassion.
