ROCHELLE — The Union Pacific Railroad crossing on 1st Avenue/Jack Dame Drive between North 15th Street and Jack Dame Drive closes today for concrete curb median improvements and other safety upgrades. The crossing is scheduled to reopen by 4 p.m. on September 15, weather permitting, with detours and traffic control devices posted in the area during construction.
