Rochelle Public Works Authorized to Purchase New Bobcat Loader

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle City Council approved a resolution last week authorizing the purchase of a new Bobcat T86 compact track loader with an 84-inch sweeper bucket and angle broom from Bobcat of Dixon under Sourcewell Contract 020223-CEC for $115,554.75. Public Works noted the versatility and reliability of Bobcat loaders, which have been in use in the city for over 20 years, and said the purchase will replace a 2016 Bobcat T770, which will be reassigned to the Water Department.
