Rochelle Proposes Update to Credit Card Policy for Clarity on Large Purchases

ROCHELLE — The City of Rochelle is proposing an update to its credit card and charge account policy to clearly state that transactions of $3,000 or more require pre-approval from the City Manager or a designee. While this has been the practice, the current policy approved in January 2025 does not include the requirement in writing. The change would formally align the policy with internal procedures to support clear oversight and maintain fiscal stability.
