RTHS Head Football Coach Kyle Kissack
The 2025 high school football season began on Monday for schools in Illinois.
The Rochelle Hubs had a record of (10-2) last season which included a quarterfinal appearance in the Class 5A Playoffs.
The Hubs return 4 starters on offense and 3 on defense. This includes running backs Dylan Manning and Roman Villalobos who both rushed for over 1,000 yards.
Head Coach Kyle Kissack begins his 8th season on the sidelines. He remains optimistic with this team as there are several battles taking place right now for starting positions.
Kissack said how the offensive and defensive lines play will be a key for a successful season.
The Hubs have 4 new non-conference games on their schedule. They include Geneseo, Chicago King, Lena-Winslow, and Waterloo.
Rochelle opens up the season on Friday, August 29th, with a home game against Geneseo.
