ROCHELLE — Rochelle Foods has donated $5,000 to the Rochelle Christian Food Pantry, adding to their longtime support of local programs addressing food insecurity.
Tracy Brown, plant manager said Rochelle Foods loves to help address hunger.
”Hormel Foods is about 20,000 people worldwide,” he said. “So it’s a big organization. 40 plants like ours around the world. This is something that we enjoy doing and we’re here to help the community.”
The facility, part of Hormel Foods, employs more than 800 people and also contributes food donations, including thousands of pounds of hams and bacon, to regional organizations each year.
