Rochelle Council Approves Downtown TIF Redevelopment Agreement


ROCHELLE — Rochelle City officials last week approved a Tax Increment Financing redevelopment agreement with Down Range Properties LLC for renovations at 422 Cherry Avenue. The developer will be eligible for up to $199,076, or 50% of project costs, for improvements including tuckpointing, roof work, and renovations to office and residential spaces. Payments will be made over five years through the Downtown and Southern Gateway TIF fund.
